December 2-5

This week in Nature/Science we will read “Drillers”, “Stitchers and Stickers”, and “Carpenters and Woodworkers” from The Truth About Animal Builders. We will listen for Bird sounds as we play a Listening Lotto. We will also go on a nature walk to collect seeds and colorful fall leaves. In Phonics/Language we will continue to practice narration with Pinocchio. We will also read The Gingerbread Man and sequence the story. In Music/Art we will practice singing “Jingle Bells” and reciting our poem for our performance on Thursday, December 5th. We will meet at the church at 6:30- (The Met Church, 11301 Old Denton Road, Keller, Texas 76248). This concert will include vocal and instrumental music by all Pre-K through 12th grade students. Please let us know whether your child will be able to attend and perform. We will begin working on our Christmas ornaments this week.
