This week in Nature/Science we will begin to learn about bats in Exploring Creation. We will practice narration with “What is a Bat?” We’re also planning to visit the garden and observe the vegetables that growing. In Phonics/Language, we will create an “N” out of nickels (using a stamp), and make an orange “O”. We’re also planning to read “Puss and Boots” by the Brothers Grimm. In Math, we will practice counting, grouping, and identifying pennies, nickels, and dimes. In Social Studies, we will practice narration with “Robin Hood” and work on our stained glass creations. In Bible, we will learn about the Widow’s Mite and how she gave the best gift. We will sing The Lord’s Prayer, and the children will make a puzzle and a prayer card.
