May 7-10

This week in Nature/Science we are planning to take a “smelling walk” together. We will search for “smelly things” and compare what we discovered when we return to circle. Please send a “smelly” item for your child to share at circle time on Thursday. We will also read Loons as we begin to learn about ducks. In Social Studies we will continue to read and practice narration with The Legend of the Bluebonnet. We will also begin to learn the Texas Pledge. In Art the children will work at the easel to create a painting of a sunflower. In Bible we will read “Honesty in the Bible” from A Child’s Book of Character Building and paint a picture. The children did a great job at play practice. Our performance will be at Trinity Christian Church on Thursday at 7:00. Please meet at the entrance near the playground (where we went in for practice) at 6:45pm.
