This week in Phonics/Language we will read Martin
McGregor’s Snowman and A Place In the Snow. We will also begin to practice narration with
“Cinderella” from Classic Tales from the Brothers’ Grimm. We will review our letters A-N and practice
sorting objects beginning with M and N into letter tubs. We will also begin to recite “The Eagle” by
Alfred Lord Tennyson.
In
Science we will read from Secrets of the Animal World: Crustaceans. We will also read “Mr. and Mrs. Crab” in our Christian
Liberty Nature Reader.
In Art we will read about Georgia O’Keefe and
work on creating flowers like the artist.
In
Bible we will read “Make Way For The King” (John 12). In History we will begin to read “Odd Boy Out” about the life of Albert Einstein.
