This week in Nature/Science we will read about Adherent Nests in Exploring Creation. We will review the types of nests that we have studies and visit the garden to discover whether the birds have made use of the nesting materials that we left for them. We will read about Egg Color and how the color often relates to the type of nest that the mother has built. We are also planning to sketch Snapdragons and plant them into the flowerbed at the front of the school.
We are working on our Perennial Garden. A special thanks to Mr. Flint, who has done a great job replacing the wooden frame. We are need of Perennials for our garden.
In Social Studies we are planning to read about Thomas Jefferson. We will also begin to work on learning The Star Spangles Banner.
